No sound....

Okay so due to issues I was having with some web pages not loading I called DS and got a hold of an agent. I was on the phone with him for 2 hours. Basically I needed to reinstall Windows. Problem is that now I don't have sound, I use my monitor for sound but when selecting the playback device I don't see the Nvidia source, (that's where my sound would come from) It just gives me option to select my razer headset, realtek digital output, which I don't have and speakers THX partial. The Nvidia one is missing, I've tried updating drivers which are updated on the GPU and windows support is no help. What do I do?

When you updated the Nvidia drivers, did you select the Nvidia Audio drivers and install them?

Don't know if I did. How do I do that?

Don't know if I need HDMI audio driver? I tried one I found but don't think its compatible

I got it, I just reinstalled the game ready driver and it popped up now

If you use GForce Experience, use "Custom Install" and UNCHECK nVidia audio drivers. Just install the display drivers, UNLESS you use them and your sound is hooked up through your graphics card.
