can somebody please tell me what I need to do to enable sound through fiberoptic outlet in motherboard? I have the cable connected but not sure if this is a windows 7 config issue or asus motherboard config matter.
ASUS P9X79 DELUXE (Intel X79 Chipset) when I look at end of cable there is no light coming through indicating socket is not active (my take). I could find nothing in windows control panel for this type issue.
let me know if you need further information to diagnose or make reccomendation. thanks D1 |

Downloaded a driver and got it working. Now if I can get the blu ray player to play the blu ray I'm all set. Plays dvds fine. LG model. I'm using a trial version of corel windvd pro 11. Anyone experience problems with it playing discs? I'm trying a fresh new skyfall disc and it won't advance.
Can anyone also recommend any other blu ray player software? Id like one that plays and burns all in one if possible, but they all seem separate. Thanks D1 |
