Just tried to start up TWO systems - both systems will come alive, Cortana starts talking to work you way through the set-up process, but the monitor just sits with no input detected. Figured it was an HDMI Cable issue , but for TWO different machines??? BTW We did check the monitors on another system and they are functional, with the same cable.
I initially thought he HDMI connection on the chassis was not working, so I plugged in a DVI-HDMI connector. Still no video coming out of the box. Also, one of the computers did not have a DVI port...(missing something?). The "user's manual" (Titles "Motherboard PRIME H310M-ER 2.0 User s Guide" was woefully inadequate in defining procedures for set-up (unless this is only for the motherboard. We did receive any other manuals to reference. Any thoughts about how to actually get a video signal out of the computer? |

Are you trying to connect through the motherboard video port or the actual graphics card port?
You should be connecting to the graphics card directly. |

Yes, that worked. There was the port under the shelf and taped over to obscure from view. Still would like to see schematics or diagram for the whole computer at some point...
