I am currently trying to configure a Velox PC. I was wondering if DS used Noctua case fans as their default fans and, if not, were they an option?

I purchased a Velox about 18 months ago, and asked DS to install Noctua fans. You can't use the online configurator to select those fans. However, I would recommend that you configure your system just the way you want with the standard fans. Then contact DS customer support before submitting your order, and ask about having some Noctuas installed. They will likely say yes, adjust the price of your order, and you'll be all set!

By the way, I really love the Noctua fans in my Velox. I got the Chromax Black versions. I have my fan curve set to 800 RPM for temperatures below 70C. Then they ramp up to full speed between 70C and 80C. They almost never go above 800 RPM, so my machine is eerily quiet 95% of the time.
