Can i put the noctua nh-d 14 with 2 fans in a HAF X and still be able to put a memory fan cooler with only 3 dimms?

that relies on the motherboard, not the case
but the n14 fans(just like the noctua u12p fans) rest almost directly on the stick heatsinks, making a ram cooler more detrimental than actually helpful in my opinion
air confustion from the ram fans blowing up vs the cooler fans blowing backwards = turbulance = less good cooling

Most people get the Rampage Extreme III because they can afford a higher end board for serious overclocking... why not go water?

i personally would leave out the memory fan for the air flow reasons i posted above, airflow confusion
you would get good airflow over your ram sticks with the noctua 12 and 14, which one you use is your choice as i believe both of them fit fine on the REIII

again, from what ender said about airflow. i forgot whether these fans are blowing at or sucking away from the mem, but either way, it's bad. if it's blowing at, then it'll suck air from the cpu cooler's intake, which will cause both to start to fail a bit. if it's sucking away, then it's gonna blast air at a direction perpendicular to the intake of the cpu cooler, again, causing the cpu cooler to fail a bit. plus, it's REALLY loud in my opinion -_-
