I've seen the assasian case with the D14 and someone complained about the way it was mounted because
the motherboard is rotated 90 degrees would this properly work with the system fans on the bottom pushing
hot air through the top with the C14? In otherwords would it mount so that it would all be pushing up?

The issue was, if you're thinking of the same thread I am, was a Noctua D14 mounted on a EVGA Classified motherboard, which doesn't fit in the normal configuration and has to be turned 90 degrees (relevant to the motherboard, not the case).

While that isn't an issue with most cases, most cases have both a rear and top exhaust near the CPU cooler, the Assassin doesn't have much in the way of a rear exhaust, as the PSU is mounted there instead. So this was an odd situation of components not fitting together correctly.

Also it should be noticed that the Assassin is a very small cramped case.

If you were to pick a chassis like that, the team would have called you by the time they were about to build it to explore your options.

I believe it's because of the motherboard.
