Most of the corsairs are rated as pretty quiet, but those are manufactured by seasonic. I don't know if they make the big 1000 watter tho.

I just got the 1000W corsair and it is not noticable in the 950i case with stage II cooling so the fans on the corsair blend in at about the same db level as the other fans, and there is no annoying buzz or humm that has struck me in listening to it.
If your case is already air cooled I really think you will not notice any additional noise. Dave ![]() |

my p/c power and cooling works real nice. its VERY quiet .. 1000w's as well

PC Magazine complained it was loud in the review, when I asked Alex about it in that thread, Alex said it was somewhat loud also, but loud is a matter of perception, so one thinks its quiet while the other thinks its loud
