My router is 40 feet away in a different room so i cannot run a wire from my room to the router. It is a wireless router so I wanted to know how i set that up because there arent options for it in "network connections". When i click set up a new connection it only gives me the options for a wired broadband connection.
Do i need to buy a wireless network card or should i be able to connect to a wireless network over the air as is?
Usually when i click network connections it has the wireless connection option. After clicking that you pick your network from the list and type password. But wireless conection is not an option?

As far as I know that board doesn't (or any that I can recall) come with integrated wireless. you'll need a wireless network card. I don't generally recommend gaming over wireless but if you must...
The card should be as fast as your router I'm guessing 802.11g. Edited by leon - 10 Feb 2010 at 4:49pm |

Ok what ill probably do is drill a hole in the wall from my bedroom into the living room because the router is, ironically enough, right on the other side of the wall! Haha hopefully my roommates wont notice .
