HI all

This is my first time here (NOOB!!!!) and i have a few questions before i get into any serious configurating.

1. I Live in Canada... is there any problems with this? Shipping for example can be a real pain.

2. Also are the prices any different for Canada?

3. I want a computer to play SupCom well on... and play music, watch movies, go on internet too... but I want to know how much a computer like this will cost... roughly. eg 2500, 3000 etc. BTW i  dont have a monitor yet or anything like that (except printer) but pls tell me if they are part of any price estimates.

EDIT:

Incase it helps I am looking at the price range of $2500-$3000 with a monitor.
$2200-$2700 without monitor.

Thx for any help in advance.

1.  Something about making sure that teeny tiny switch in the back of the power supply is set to 230+ or something.  120+ are set for other areas, it's set to 230+ for Canada for some reason.

Canada uses 120V just like the USA.

And this is the year 2008. Most, if not all power supplies automatically convert from 120V to 240V if necessary.

Wait really?  So what's the point o-- Oh wait wait...

Was it Canada or was it Europe that needed that bigger voltage setting?

Edit:  Oh well I guess it's because of the fact my comp is 1 and a half year old at the least is probably why ahaha.  Cause I have that particular setting in the back.

Allright thx i read that article and it says something like if the product is made in the usa then it free from certain duties... Are these considered made in usa or do they go by the individual parts being made wherever they are made???

this is what i know..anything over 1600.00 american must have a nafta certificate of origin with the commercial invoice..product must be wholly obtained or produced entirely in the us , mexico, or canada to enter canada under reduced duty...depending on percentage of non nafta parts..would equal to the increase in duty..as to DSO's percentage...just cant say..Cry
