Hi!
I am a bit confused after reading different sites and want to know that what are the ideal temperatures of these CPU's.

Intel Core i3-6100

Intel Core i5-6600K

Intel Core i7-6700K

As i have three different systems and they sometimes get heat up. Like i can feel the heat out of it.
So anyone here can tell me.

Regards.

Temps in the 70C under load are very good.   80’s C is also safe but 70’s to very low 80’s is what to shoot for. Of course, lower than 70’s is great.

Use HWMONITOR to check temps.

First where to download this software.
As there are many sites most of them give malware gift with file.
Secondly what this software can do. Do you think it can provide usual or normal CPU temperature of PC.

Google HWMONITOR and download it from their site. Then run it while stressing with game, etc. Never had malware with it.     The software will show you the cpu core temps at min and max and also show you gpu temps.   The other info you can ignore.

It doesn’t adjust temps, just monitor what you have.   If temps are too high you need a better cpu cooler or more airflow with fans in the case.

"Normal" is going to vary just about with every CPU and every system. There are dozens of different CPU fans/coolers on the market that give different results. The air temperature in the room you're in is significant. How many fans and placement in your case is a factor.

So, what bprat was saying is what we focus on. What is safe and healthy for any CPU is max temperatures at or under 80 Centigrade. Any setup you get from DS is going to give you temps well below that. My new rig has a i7-8700k CPU and a Corsair H115i all-in-one closed loop liquid cooling unit. So far, I have not seen a temp under load above 50C. With 80C at the upper end, these are fantastic temperatures.

In short "ideal" is any temp on any processor that stays below 80C.

BTW, the full name for that thermal software is CPUID HWMONITOR. Get it from the CPUID site and you'll have no problems.

Curious....What cpu coolers are mounted to each cpu?   And what case are they in, so we can see the fan setup.

You never mentioned your temps.    If they stay in the 80c or lower then all is good. A cpu will throw a lot of heat when under load, like from gaming.   Aftermarket coolers are designed to not only keep the cpu cooler than manufacturers basic cooler, but also send the heat out of the case so the insides don’t heat up.   Even aftermarket air coolers have their fans pointed to the back to get the heat out.   Base, manufacturers coolers are usually mounted with fan blowing up from the cpu and directly into the case. That’s when the enclosures fans are important to keep airflow high enough to get the heat out.

If the cpu isn’t overheating and shutting down then that’s all you can expect from that type of cooler.
