single 1080 is all you need, whenever possible go with single card solution its the best choice.

750w is all you need for single 1080. for sli we would recommend 1000w for good headroom.

You need to go with the 2666Mhz ram so you get the best timing which is very important.

for airflow you can control all your fans via asus software or other software for free.

I changed your lighting to the remote control one, I like it better with the remote.

changed led fans to non led for better airflow less noise, just ask DS to connect all your fans, case and extra to the mobo, that way we can control them all thru xpert for exmaple

I like a case with good airflow for best temps, so I like the velox way more then the 1466046

So you would go with this case and not the bolt? I really want that Titan X card, I know it will last me forever plus the Bolt 3 looks great and is small which I like. I will totally go with your opinion though, because I'm sure you know a lot more than me. LOL

I like a case with great airflow, overtime it comes in very handy, therefore bolt is not my cup of tea, and velox is my first choice for air cooled system. I'm 100% sure you will have better temps in velox than bolt.

Not saying anything is wrong with bolt.

feel free to change my config to a titan as long as you understand for 1440p I totally recommend you don't go with titan for that res, at that res 1080 has you covered.

Totally agree, airflow is huge. If I were to have both the CPU and GPU cooled would that be significant enough to keep temps cool enough? My room never gets over 76 degrees but if you recommend the Velox I'll for sure go with that and just keep the 1080 in there for now and maybe later down the road slap in another 1080.

76 is a great temp to have IMHO, you should be just fine on air IMHO.

I'm always gonna recommend the velox for best airflow. As I mentioned I always go with best airflow so because of that bolt is not my cup of tea, but that is just me.

But that is based on the things I mentioned, you think about those things and then the things that are important to you and then hopefully come to a conclusion of which way you want to go.

I hope my it wasn't my thread that steered you away from the Aura, you may have been happy with it if you weren't already used to a 144hz monitor!
