Not sure if this was bundled with my DS PC

Hello! I'm hoping someone can help me with this. This morning I received an invoice for a software product called Driver Booster. It claimed to be a "renewal". I have no recollection of ordering it but a search in my email inbox suggests it might have been bundled with my latest DS system a couple of years ago now. I can't imagine buying this product and I certainly don't have it installed. However, before I cancel the thing and possibly inform PayPal of a dodgy charge, can anyone advise re. either the product or whether it's something endorsed by DS? Many thanks.

To the best of my knowledge, DS has never bundled anything with a computer. Not one shred of shovel- or crap-ware. Email Alex to make absolutely sure, but I'd bet it's a "no".

This is one of many things I like about DS, one of my systems came with some antivirus, I can't remember if it was 'jangles or 'jingles, but it was just a code, something I could install on my own if I wanted (I did not). It was NOT on the machine when I got it, something that can't be said for a lot of other PC manufacturers.

Never dl anything that you personally don't know what it does and you have no issues with the system. The name itself is very suspect. And "renewal" is a marketing trick for at best unwanted harmless software and at worst .....
You did the right thing.
