Hi MarkCayenne.    Welcome to the forums.

Here's a build to consider.    The ODE 600T case is an excellent case with very good airflow.

The I5-4670k cpu is right on for gaming.  No need to go i7 for gaming only.

The EVGA 750 psu is a longer warranty than some of the default supplies listed  and is fully modular, meaning the cables plug in for easy psu swap if ever needed.

You didn't mention the monitor's resolution you'll be using, but the gtx 780TI is tops right now and will play super on a 1920x1080 monitor for example.

The Z87-C  motherboard doesn't allow for sli, 2x video card if that's in your future, but most won't  anyways if they don't right away.  The Sabertooth mobo does allow for sli , and even if you don't want sli, it is just a high quality board with longer warranty if in the budget.

I upped the SSD  from default 120GB to the 240GB.  They do fill pretty quickly.  I actually meant to put in the Samsung 256Gb 840 .  Larger for the same price, but they're both good.

Hope this helps and good luck. Big%20Smile

The Bolt 2 is a real nice rig, but if space isn't an issue, the ODE gives you more upgrade options because its more spacious, easier to work on and a bit cheaper for the same performance.  But, the Bolt is a nice design.

Here is another option, a Virtue at $2,425: http://www.digitalstormonline.com/comploadvirtue.asp?id=921499

You get a small form factor with SLI capability, liquid cooled CPU and the top graphics card available. It might be good idea to ask for a second front intake fan.

Just some general specs:

1. CPU - 4670K Intel Haswell w/ Stage 1 OC
2. Mobo - Gryphon (or higher) if budget allows, otherwise the base version that starts with build will be fine
3. SSD - 128/256GB Samsung 840PRO
4. HDD - 1TB+ Western Digital Caviar Black
5. RAM - 8-16GB 1600 DS
6. PSU - 750W EVGA SuperNOVA
7. GPU - nVidia GTX 780ti (ACX version if it fits your budget)
8. CPU Cooler - Hyper 212 Evo, Noctura D14, H100i are all good - get what will fit your case!
9. FREE DS Shirt!

Put all that in the case of your choice (lighting and fans are cx choice!!).

Here's an example using the ENIX case (in case you were looking for something a little different): 922112
HailStorm II
i7 4770K @ 4.5GHz
Asus Maximus VI Extreme
16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum
3xSLI EVGA SuperClocked GTX TITAN
Samsung 840Pro SSD 256GB+512GB
HydroLux+XSPC CPU/MoBo/GPU Liquid Cooling
