Budget: I'm a student, so I guess less than $3500 but even less is better. This is for only the PC, I already have the peripherals.
Expectations: Something faster than my dual SLI GTX 770's while running 1080p on most modern games Usage: Heavy gaming (new games too) and possible Dogecoin mining (so heavy cooling) Special Needs: I have a rather limited space where I want to put it (pictures coming soon), it's about a 10" wide by 22" tall by 23" long, but with a complete wall on the left side and a wall that comes about halfway down my current computer in the back. I currently have my computer sitting on the edge of it so there is airflow, but it would be nice if there was a way to have the case almost "inverted." Also, is the HyroLux cooling the only way to go for liquid cooling? Saved Ticket #: 149813 Just looking around at this one... Specifications: A 780 Ti would be nice as well as a rather big SSD (maybe 256GB) and at least a 2TB hard drive. |

Hi Lunacat78....Welcome to the forums. That config # doesn't work. After configuring, hit save and email and the cnfig # shows.
I don't think you'll stay on budget with Hydrolux water cooling and a gtx 780TI. Another alternate is the H110i liquid cooler. A sealed unit with no maintenance, no up-keep. The only cases here with right facing window is thew Aventum and the Silverstone TJ11. Huge cases. You could look at the ODE 600T case, at the limit of your space requirements but doesn't need air flow on either side. Air flow is front to back and out the top. Air 540 is the same, I believe. Just two to consider. The single 780ti is better gaming than the sli 770 for some but not all gaming. Hope this helps. ![]() |

I also made a mistake with the 770's part, they are actually 570's, oops. Mistakes, mistakes.

That makes more sense, the sli 570 vs 780ti.
Better for sure. ![]() That's a good build. You could save some money and drop the psu to EVGA 750 or Corsair 850.. For single card, that's plenty. The HydroLux cooling wouldn't fit that case, but the H100i will do great. Good luck. ![]() |

Here is my suggestion: http://www.digitalstormonline.com/compload300R.asp?id=918446
I switched to lower priced case with better stock cooling, if you prefer the aesthetic of the original, stick to that it isn't that big of a difference. I cut the power the the EVGA 750 Nova since you won't need the additional power, as bpratt22 pointed out or you can go with the 850 Corsair if you prefer. I dropped the overclock to Stage 1, since you are unlikely to be able to get to Stage 2 with the motherboard. You might want to consider switching to the EVGA ACX Superclocked 780 Ti for a bit more GPU power. Once you get it you may want to add another fan or two to keep the case temps down, if you go with the ACX. With the 100i and the motherboards ability to control fans, there shouldn't be a need for the HydroLux. |

Thanks danjw1, if I Upgrade All Fans to Corsair Airflow Performance Edition and add in the Strike-X AeroCool Temperature Display & Fan Controller, will that be enough to deal with the ACX version?

I don't think it will add that much hot air to the inside of the case. I would wait until you have it and see what the motherboard sensor tells you. Asus's AI Suite can adjust fan speeds and let you know the temperature of the motherboard. There should be an available spot on the front for an additional 140mm fan and two more can go on the side panel. Adding a fan is just a matter of screwing them in place and attaching a single cable to the motherboard. The motherboard manual will have information on the location of the ports and how they are plugged in.
