Welp, I am a moron and locked myself out of my "old account" trying to change the email address. I changed it and made a typo. Now I cant get back in to change it. Oh well. New account time! Mods, delete "NamelessJae" account if possible. Apologies ahead for the waste of time. Onto the meat of the post!

Talked to DS just now and was advised that SB Cinema 5 was a typo on the Nova landing page on the DS site. The sticker being placed on the laptop was as well. In other words, the Nova does not come with SB Cinema 5. The rep is checking further for me and will email me back when they speak to the build department.

My question is, placing the sticker, having it on the site, etc... wouldnt that ethically make DS have to provide it or at least a semi refund seeing something they clearing state on the site and on the laptop it self does not exist?

Both our laptops (Nova included) include Sound Blaster Cinema 5. Please see below from one of our techs, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding:

The SBC5 will be automatically downloaded online and installed if the Creative UWP driver is installed. As a result, please forget the SB AP PreinstallKit.

If the customer has already installed the SBC5, then please tell them to remove it. However, once it’s removed then the SBC5 will not be auto downloaded again. Please tell them to go to the link below to obtain the SBC5 AP, but make sure that their internet connection won’t block the Windows Store access:

Not to sound rude, but there are multiple recent posts about this with easy solution to ur problem.

Update windows to current 1903 and will automatically add the sound blaster software.

Im installed the driver and have the latest windows build that included the connect app. No SB5 is on my Nova though. Had a tech on via Quick Assist who was lost as well. Not sure what to do from here though.

Already have updated and yes, I have the SB Connect software that states YOUR AUDIO DEVICE CANNOT BE DETECTED.

Any help with that one?

Emailed a few times Alex. Any word yet on this subject? Everyone I speak to has no clue what I can do to help this. Im at a loss. LOL.

If you guys figure this out, I'd love to know the solution. I have an Avon and have not been able to get SB5. I posted in another thread and was also told to just update Windows and it would automatically be installed. That didn't happen. I'm too busy with work to fool with it too much, so I've just been using my headphones when I get on the PC, but having SB5 would be nice.
