NVIDIA has announced the release of their next gen GPU the GTX Titan. It is suppose to hit the market on Feb 25. I was unable to find any reviews with benchmarking yet. The best review I found was the following:
Hopefully we will se benchmarking for this card soon as this card carries a hefty price tab of $999 for a single card.

Need to see benches before shelling out this kind of money. Although the memory bandwidth and texture units shows promise for surround. Would still rather have a sli setup for cost of replacement and a card to fall back on just in case. Edited by bprat22 - 19 Feb 2013 at 10:05am |

Ok so after reading that article I began to blurr and see the words transistors and cudas and blowouts yada yada, I guess the only thing I want to know is how much more powerful is that card, and does it even come close to justifying the 1000 doallar price tag.

Same price as the gtx 690, but single gpu instead of dual gpu on single card and the memory bit buss and texture units might sell it for 3D surround setups where rendering is the heaviest.
Just guessing until benches come out. I still like sli for the flexibility and economics but that's just me.

That's a pretty spiffy card.
Though to be frank, my days of spending (anywhere near) that kind of money on a GPU are behind me. ![]() |

If you have the time, this is a long and in-depth review of the Titan, I already know what I think of these cards, read this and post your opinion
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-titan-gk110-review,3438.html keep in mind down at the bottom right hand side there is a tab that says "next page" hit that, its like 10 pages long. |

I like to see a few more creditable sites do a bench, I never just go by one, but from this review I think I can match the titan with sli 670, give or take 6 fps.
