Topic: Nvidia Driver Install QuestionPosted: 14 Dec 2009 at 10:00am |

I just got my new DS PC with Win. 7 64bit. I noticed that the text is blurry in all of the flight sims. It looks like there is a fog over everything. I like to update the GPU driver to see if this will fix the issue. My question is this… Do I uninstall Nvidia drivers, PhysX and Stereoscopic 3D before installing the new driver or just uninstall the Nvidia driver and leave PhysX and 3D alone? Thanks. |

this is very simple do the following:
start > control panel > programs > uninstall a program > NVIDIA Drivers
dbl click NVIDIA Drivers, then a window pops out, click "Remove only the following" then click NVIDIA Display Driver, then click remove. Your pc will prompt you to restart, do it. once you reboot go to nvidia website and download the latest driver.

Physx will be removed and update automatically when working with the display dirver. I am not sure about the 3d software, I suggest you leave that alone for now (i'll look into it). Using a 3rd part driver cleaner is also is a good way to go, as long as you know what you're doing. Either using the method i showed you or using a 3rd party program is fine. let me know if you're still having problems afterwards. update: i just realized Stereoscopic 3D were those 3d glassesEdited by Chris91 - 15 Dec 2009 at 10:46pm |

yes you should always uninstall old drivers and then install new drivers after a reboot, your old drivers can cause conflict.
