Price cuts are in effect!
 
As we reported yesterday, NVIDIA has slashed pricing on their GeForce 8/9 series lineup. The GeForce 9800 GTX now carries an MSRP of $199, while the price of the 8800 GT has been reduced to $169. Finally, NVIDIA's GeForce 9600 GT is now priced at $149.
So which retailers have adjusted their pricing to reflect the latest cuts?

TigerDirect and Zipzoomfly appear to be first out of the gates. Over at Tiger EVGA and XFX GeForce 9800 GTX cards are priced at $199.99, while GeForce 8800 GTs from BFG, EVGA, PNY and XFX are already being sold for MSRP or less. Finally, if you're looking for a 9600 GT, cards from EVGA, PNY, and Palit are already available at or below MSRP.

Zipzoomfly is already offering several 9800 GTX, 8800 GT, and 9600 GT cards at the new prices. 9800 GTX cards from BFG, EVGA, and XFX are priced at $199.99, while 8800 GT cards manufactured by ASUS, EVGA, Gigabyte, and MSI are offered at or below MSRP. For the GeForce 9600 GT, Zipzoomfly offers cards from ASUS, EVGA, MSI, Palit, and XFX at NVIDIA's new MSRP.

 
 
I hope DSO will now adjust its prices accordingly.Smile
