I just got my pc yesterday and love it no problems at all so far Ouch . But I was wondering what is good temptures for a gtx 480 (single)? I saw in the pictures from the tests that Digital storm took that it hit 94 celsus. Just wondering because my old pc had a problem with the graphics card (dual 7800 gtx in sli) the one card would cause the pc to bsod or crash due to it getting hot 80-95 celsus. So what should my temps be at for it? It's cool on idle usual in 40s just spikes fast when in a going from idle to a game but cools fast back on idle as well.

Thanks, Laddy3

idle 40 degrees is good. How high does it spike though? You can use evga precision to speed up the fan

The fan of the gpu is only around 40% according to Msi After burner. Like I havent played a game on it yet for a few hours but if i go from idle in the 40's and do a benchmark on a game it will go into the 80's. Today so far my max was 84 clesus min 40.

94C is well within specs for a GTX 480 under full load. The card is designed to function normally up to 105C. You got 84, no worries. The fan will spin up as the card heats up (and get louder).
