    Posted: 10 Jan 2010 at 6:15pm

We're thrilled to announce that NVIDIA came to Digital Storm to design and build their three-way SLI systems featuring Fermi at CES 2010 in Las Vegas, CA. Digital Storm is proud to be the only system builder given the only honor and trust to build the fastest Fermi systems featuring three-way SLI Fermi.

It was an extensive task liquid cooling the Fermi cards with custom modified water blocks built in-house at our facility. In addition, we custom mounted a second 240mm radiator in the front of the Thermaltake chassis which is effectively hidden.

@Bullseye,

I'm sorry mate, but, I'm not the best guy for config advice. I leave that up to an expert such as DST4ME or even Sarah (call 1-866-817-8676 and ask for Sarah in Sales).

So what is the all black unit next to the DS build? Is it another type 3-card unit for comparison? Say, three 5970's, or three 295 GTX's? OR were other builders also asked to build a triple-fermi configuration? Just curious-JPT

Digital Stom was the only system builder that was given the honor of building the 3-Way SLI Fermi systems.

Justin.Kerr is correct.

Ya know, I was really pleased with the aesthetics of the build ( and impressed with the power) until I saw the Simon game-styled blinky lights on the side fan during a demo video. It made me want to touch the screen and copy the pattern...

Yeah, we weren't a big fan of the side panel on the Thermaltake chassis.

I am not sure if it would be divulging sensitive technical data on the card or not, but is the Fermi going to have HDMI out like the ATI's do, or will you need an adapter?

ATI nor Nvidia's new cards have HDMI, but they do have display port.

@justin.kerr

You sure? The 5870 looks like an HDMI port, and says so on newegg. Not sure about the 5970, that looks like it needs an HDMI adapter.

It's just our regular 'HailStorm' chassis with a white paint job. It's about $3,500 featuring a single GTX 295 with our Stage 6 cooling package with white tubes.
