As posted in Industry News:

We're thrilled to announce that NVIDIA came to Digital Storm to design and build their three-way SLI systems featuring Fermi at CES 2010 in Las Vegas, CA. Digital Storm is proud to be the only system builder given the only honor and trust to build the fastest Fermi systems featuring three-way SLI Fermi.

It was an extensive task liquid cooling the Fermi cards with custom modified water blocks built in-house at our facility. In addition, we custom mounted a second 240mm radiator in the front of the Thermaltake chassis which is effectively hidden.

and I assume you will leverage this PR to Digital Storm's advantage when it comes to selling Fermi cards and Fermi based systems and advertising....
like your ads in MaximumPC magazine?.......such as .......

let's try this.

Since we now know that Digital Storm has ordered a boat load of Fermi cards, and they have had a successful precense with it at the CES.........they now seem to be on the roll with NIVDIA and the upper hand with the neat rig they built,,,,,,,,

So change the "reservation list" to a card "giveaway".

For every person who reserves a card through DS, they are entered in a drawing.

If a person reserves two cards, they get two entries in the drawing.

When the Fermi card is released, then DS randomly chooses a winner who then receives their card or card(s) free.

Digital Storm may even increase the hype by agreeing to install, tweak and benchmark the free cards in any system that had been built/bought from Digital Storm in the past or one that is currently on order with DS.

Furthermore, we can even "up the ante" by a system give away with the free card or card(s).

I know this is a far-out expensive proposition, but first off, it doesn't have to be a $5,000 mega system.  Second off, Ballistic Gaming PC gave away two systems
to kick off their opening....which didn't seem to generate that much excitement.

I think with Digital Storms reputation for quality, this may generate some excitement.

And since DS spends $$$ advertising every month ANYWAY, like the two page ad I see in MaximumPC every month, DS could even use these adds to hype the rig they built for the Fermi card/NVIDIA and say something like "let us build one for you"!  (unless, of course, there is something in your agreement with NVIDIA that would legally prevent you from doing this.).

There are many other ways to tweak these ideas and I am sure that the long term forum members can come up better ideas than this.

Well. that is enough for now.

Let the flame wars begin........Smile

Cheers
