Cool video. Wonder what the target price is going to be for one of these?

According to this:
http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/introducing-the-geforce-gtx-780-ti 699$, so 200$ more than the standard 780. The 780 Ti looks like it could be a great matchup for the Bolt! Edited by Tidgxor - 07 Nov 2013 at 8:19am |

Looks like there's a new Top Dog in town. What I would like to see is a comparison between the GTX 780 EVGA SuperClocked, 780ti & Titan EVGA SuperClocked to see which one is really the best card out there...
With the price drop in the standard 780, I would imagine the MSRP would be around $600-650 for the ti version. EDIT: just saw your post on the pricing!! Maybe my guess will be more retail pricing? Edited by fstcvc - 07 Nov 2013 at 8:34am |

That's not a bad price for it. I am sure it will be as good or better than the Titan, so about $300 cheaper than that is a great deal.
If I weren't so happy with my twin 680's I might give it a look but I won't have to change for awhile yet. |

Every time I spend a lot of money in this case $1019 for a EVGA Titan SC they come out with something faster in just a month or two. Oh well at least I have better Floating Point and 6 GB of memory. Now if I can only become a scientist or get three 4 K monitors to use then I can still claim to have the best and actually be able to use it.
Happens every time! |

I've been trying to get Nav to do a comparison test between the new 780ti and the Titan SC/780SC to see where all 3 stand. I think the SC Titan would at least be as good if not maybe better? I guess we'll have to wait to find out!! I'm running triple monitors so I think having the Titan SC is still the better choice for me with its 6GB of VRAM but would still like to know it stacks up! |

fstcvc,
I think the 6GB will become more important with high resolution multi-monitors as well as games themselves. I have read about COD ghosts peaking at around 5 GB on some people's Titans. I have actually played around benchmarking the fast double precision floating point of the Titan and want to take advantage of that capability someday. I have had my Digital Storm system for several years. Even before I swapped out the EVGA GTX 295 with the EVGA GTX Titan it was a great gaming machine and just a really nice system in general. It is so nice to have a system that boots up quick and just simply operates like a professional piece if lab equipment, Thanks for responding to my post! |

I'd like to see that comparison too fstcvc. I'll be buying no later than tax time (if I can resist the seasonal special they have right now - lol) and I would like to see the comparison between the Titan and the 780ti. I'm single monitor (Dell U3014) so I'm leaning to x3 780ti but I'm curious as to the differences.

Here's an article that might help.
The gtx 780TI averaged 10% better performance, mostly due to its faster memory clock and more Shader Units over the Titan, I'm guessing.
The Titan does have more vram, but not sure where it would actually be used. 4K maybe.

I've seen reviews for the regular Titan/780 vs 780ti but would like to see it against the SC versions as these are rarely compared but should offer a healthy increase in performance over their base models...

Actually I probably contributed to the confusion bprat. That said, thanks for the link. It's looking like the 780ti will be the way to go - especially for my dell u3014 as the marks for the 2560x1600 seem pretty amazing (although the price is at a premium but still less than the Titan!!)

My understanding is that even where cost isn't a driver currently the Ti is the way to go for one non-4K monitor but I'm uncertain enough on this point that I asked about it in a thread in the configurations forum. I've read that the 6 gig Titan memory adds real value only for multiple monitors or 4K.
