I recently ordered my new machine, still in stage 1  and im just curious if it could handle a occulus rift setup or would i need to add more to the system?

Your 1070 should do good you are above the requierments it asks for, but I don't own one so I can't tell you first hand, I'm waiting for the kinks to get worked out and see playstation version also and then make up my mind about which direction to go.
