So I'm about a week away from placing my order for a new PC through DS, and I've found myself concerned with one thing. I want to place the PC on top of a tempered glass desk, but I realize these gaming rigs can be quite heavy.. I'd really prefer not to keep the PC on the floor, but I'm also worried that putting such a large amount of weight on top of glass isn't such a great idea either. Anyone have experience with something like this that might be able to shed some light on how well the desk would hold up? I tried finding a weight limit for my particular desk, but haven't had much luck.

Well, from what I know from experience, tempered glass is actually much stronger than regular glass.

How thick is your glass? Would you be placing the computer on an area where there is a leg or two right under it for the glass or a beam that goes under?

It's about 1/4'' thick, and the PC would be placed across two of the support beams that run under the glass. I'm probably a little more concerned about it than I need to be, but it's one of those things where I'd rather not wait until I have a $2k+ investment sitting on top of it to learn whether the metal/glass is stable or not. Hahaha

If it's under the support breams you'll be perfectly fine.
