Hi there,
I just got my ODE 3 system- love it. It's my second DS system and I wasn't disappointed. The question: I live in NYC and space is limited. I have a small IKA computer desk and the ODE 3 case barley fits! I am worried about the system getting overheated because of limited airflow. I have about a foot of space over the PC (with the keyboard table pulled out, a half a foot behind it (till it his the wall) and open space in front. My concern is that yesterday while playing pretty much all day the temps got to: CPU 48C Motherboard 47C other things in the 40-50s PCIE-1 got up to 63C 1 USBs got up to 80s I just created custom fan profiles to kick them up to max at 60C. I was thinking of adding the assist fan on my motherboard. Any fan recommendations for that? It's 50mm by 10mm correct? Any other recommendations of places I can add a fan to help? Or am I stressing out about nothing? Thanks for your help! |

to be honest those temps arent anything to worry about. I would do a 1:1 profile for your video cards up until about 65-70 then you can flatten the curve when it starts to get louder.
not sure what you mean buy 1usb got to 80? Nothing usb related will get that hot its prob a misread by the program. The hottest things in your case will be the video card/s Edited by RiceEatin2000GT - 14 Aug 2011 at 3:07pm |
