Does the ODE 3 onboard audio digital out support 7.1?
 
I'm thinking yes, but wanted to ask the experts here.
 
The ODE 3 has an ASUS Sabertooth P67 mobo.
ASUS says this board uses Realtek® ALC892.
Realtek says the ALC892 supports 7.1+2 Channel HD Audio Codec with Content Protection.
 
So if I followed that correctly, the ODE 3 puts out 7.1, right?  If so, I need to shop for an optical cable and a new receiver. Big%20Smile
