been researching and shopping for months and have narrowed it down to ODE level 2. I'm a gamer first and will also use this machine as a workstation second (3D modeling/animation in C4D and compositing with After Effects). I've been reading reviews of how fantastic this monster is with games, how about using it for a workstation? thanks, this will help my decision a lot!!!

@e11eventoes,

I'm sorry that no one had a chance to respond to your thread. Usually such posts should be in the "Configuration Discussion" area, but, I'll do my best to help. The ODE Level 2 can definitely be a good workstation as well, especially since gaming computers and workstations are high-performance computers.

As a side note, our community forums is honestly a place for our current and potential customers to collaborate and help each other out. For direct and official support from Digital Storm, I recommend contacting us directly by calling (1-866-817-8676) or sending a message (http://www.digitalstormonline.com/customerservice.asp) to our team would be the best way.

I hope this helps, and thank you for your interest in Digital Storm! Big%20Smile

I gave the guys at DS a holler over the phone and recommend you do the same.  You speak with actual humans and they seem to know what they are talking about.  You don't get a call center in India.
