Topic: ODE LV 1 Fan ControlPosted: 07 Nov 2011 at 5:18pm |

Hi DS Community! I recently purchased the ODE Lv 1, and am blown away by its performance. BF3 settings on High and some Ultra settings run smooth on MP. Now to the main topic. For the ODE, it comes with a Fan controller on the top front of the tower. I leave it on near max as I suppose that would be the default speed. But since there is a controller, I assume that there is the option of lowering it below default or whatnot. When do I know I could lower the fan power? Thanks! |

Hi criTalon,
Any time you are not gaming you can turn it down. You would want the adjustment on high when your are gaming for the best cooling. You could also monitor your CPU Temps and experiment with turning it down and keeping track of your temps. I don't think the adjustment is that much and I would just play with it a bit. The only reason to turn it down would be to lower the noise. If you don't mind the noise then just leave it high. Frank Edited by FrankW - 07 Nov 2011 at 6:42pm |

realtemp is good but if you want to see temps for everything then get HWMonitor
keep an eye out for both core temps and gpu temps. Edited by DST4ME - 07 Nov 2011 at 6:52pm |
