I want to buy a ODE LVL 4. What would be the appropriate monitor for it. Is a Dell 24" UltraSharp good enough for it. I don't want to spend more then $500.

the Dell UltraSharp U2312HM for about $250 on sale is used by lots of forum people and they love it.

I know that everybody keeps recommending dell ultrasharps here. But on other websites and forums they recommend other brands.

So I'm just wondering if a Dell is really the best I can get for under $500. Or if people just repeat what they keep reading.

Does anyone have the BENQ XL2420T? I'm looking to get it as it is 120HZ and would love some feedback, thanks!

I was in the same situation ips or 120hz, I am so glad I got my ips monitor, there is absolutly no input lag or ghosting the only reason to get a 120hz monitor is for 3d or the fast refresh rate but unless you are a robot you will not notice the 120hz refresh rate. You will get much better enjoyment out of the ips picture quality
