Budget:
3.5-4K on the tower alone. Still need to purchase a monitor, and mechanical keyboard. Expectations: BF4 @ 120fps, & a platform that can be augmented in later years Usage: Predominately gaming..
Special Needs: N/A Saved Ticket #: 893960 The Build - A shortcut Specifications: N/A //Break// This is the ODEv3, Level 4 with some slight changes. 1) I added an additional 240gb SSD so I can run RAID 0. Loading games should be a little faster. :) 2) I changed my video card to the GTX 780 Ti 3GB (EVGA). I figured, why not.. LOL 3) I changed my CPU cooler to the Corsair H110 280mm , which is a slightly newer version. Bottom line; I'm a returning D.S. customer, and have always wanted a desktop gaming rig. My last 2 D.S. computers were laptops, so they quickly became outdated and I am currently in the process of RMA'ing my faulty laptop. Sounds like all arrows lead me to the the realization that I should bring my business back to D.S. I'd like to get some feedback from the community! Sidenote: Should I wait till Black Friday or Cyber Monday to order? |

Looks great. A couple of things.... I don't believe the h110 will fit the 600t case. The h100i will fit. Also, you could save a few hundred $$ by going with ODE level 3 with z87 mobo and 4770k cpu. The x79 quad channel ram mobo and 6 core cpu isn't needed for gaming. It certainly doesn't hurt, so your call.
Good luck.

Get the internal lighting option since you have a side window to show off the inside of your system. For $59 you can get a remote controlled LED light system. Change the color to 6 or 8 different ones and vary the intensity. I would also get the free T-shirt, you dont want it give it away. I think returning customers might get a discount for buying a 2nd one. Ask ALEX

Great feedback! DS, does the H100i fit? I don't mind dropping a couple extra stacks on a 6 core. :) My overarching goal is to not need to buy a computer for the next ~4-5 years.
So to confirm, there will be no changes in prices between now and Christmas? If that's the case, I might just order it next week. I was holding off just in case there was a Black Friday or Cyber Monday super deal. |

I would suggest you switch SSDs to the Samsung 256GB 840 Pros, they perform better and are the same price.
