Old Hard Drive Into A new Computer?

   I want to take my computer and add my hard drive from my old computer. First I need to know if you can, I know mobo's are touchy on that sort of thing.

Second they both have Vista installed, is there a way for my computer to "Duel boot?" Ie: To start the computer select what hard drive to boot from? 

And Finally to transfer files between drives by creating a network?
