Here is the puter I am upgrading to DS from:

3.6 gig prescott oc'ed to 4.0
2 gigs ddr400 (eww!)
36gig raptor/300 gig maxtor
7900gtx
danger den water cooling

took me 50 work hours to put this together... (one of the reasons I went with DS!) it has served me well but alas I need more..






Silverstone TJ-10
INTEL 4790K
16 gigs ddr3
ssd and such
liquid cooled cpu
2080 RTX Super

how long did that last you for?
 
all I had was a 2.5Ghz computer, with a 512mb ATI Rad card. before I had some kind of geforce card but I don't remember what kind it was.  my computer lasted me a good 6 or 7 years I think.
Processor: QX6850 (3.3Ghz)
RAM: 4GB 1066 Dominators
Graphics: 2x 8800GTX 768MB
Sound Card: Fatal1ty
HDD 1: 2x 150GB raptor (RAID 0)
HDD 2: 1x 150GB raptor
HDD 3: 320GB western
Liquid cooling (red)

it last me just under 2 years... I built it during some major changes (sli wasnt mainstream, ddr2 was new..

Whoa, comparing your new Blue system with this one... "Day and Night" difference. Mehtab, one of our engineers loved it so much he took a snapshot with his cell phone and said he will try to post it on the forums.

FPS's... lots of COD2, BF2, BF2142, HL2, Q4, Prey... I could go on... I guess I could say "all fps's" and the occasional Oblivion or BFME2 game.
 
Alex: that would be cool if he could post the pic, I am extremly curious as to how it came out!
