I am interested in upgrading my current 3 year old Digital Storm system. Will DS do that and if so who is the best contact?

I believe that you can send it back to DS for them to upgrade it, and I'm sure Alex could tell you who to email.
However I think it's a better idea to just upgrade some of the "easy" components. A new GPU, more ram, and an SSD can breathe new life into an old system.
Could you post your system specs and monitor resolution so that we can help you out with choosing components if you decide to do it yourself? |

Hello Etouffee... Best DS contact that can expedite things would be to e-mail Alex, the DS Customer Experience Manager. [email protected]
Was waiting to see if he responded to your post, but it's a busy time for computer companies with CES 2013 going on in Las Vegas. Alex will get you squared away....

Sure, our sales team would be the best people to contact. We can upgrade the unit for you, but, we can't trade in any of the hardware for credit.

Thanks for the reply's. I am looking to put a bit of life back into this computer for now then pass it on to my daughter and get a new one for myself down the road. I will contact the sales team and if nothing else get some recommendations on options.

We need more info. What's your system specs? The cpu needs a heat sink so the chip doesn't crowbar, shutdown. Not starting.... is it not even turning on or is it faulting out after posting. Without a heatsink the cpu will overheat.
