MSI p6n sli mobo , pci-e " 1.0 " , can i use the newer video cards that are pci-e 2.0 ? are they backwards compatible ? having trouble finding the best card to put in my old system so i can gift it to my nephew . it currently has an nvidia 8800 gts , no longer available except on ebay , used . the 8800 barely keeps up with the new game max settings , even warcraft .
