It was a great game and great tournament. From the Canadian side good to see both the men and women take the gold at home. Sid the Kid comes through in the clutch!

yup, crosby relieves the pressure...he's gonna be our hero for quite a while, and yeah i forgot about the women's team...so it's pretty amazing to see total hockey domination, but let's not forget you guys beat us pretty bad in the juniors...so our victory kind of settles the score (not to mention the hostility, lol)

Didn't really care who won, but that was a boring goal to end it on. Oh well. USA should have taken the W, especially with Miller playing the way he has been, but all that matters is who wins in the end. Though, I'm not so sure that "the better team prevailed," but we'll agree to disagree on that one ;p
This is all Nabokov's fault anyway. He always sucks when the pressure's on. Had Russia started Bryzgalov I'm not sure Canada would have made it past them. Either way, good for Canada. I'm used to my favored teams losing [Islanders, Mets] so it wasn't too much of a blow, though my girlfriend took it pretty hard. I'm just pissed I didn't get to watch it in HD because my box was broken :( |

when you're canadian, it is extremely important. hockey's like the one thing we can brag about, because, let's face it, we're pretty much the underdog in just about EVERYTHING. Edited by Chris91 - 11 Mar 2010 at 12:05am |

Well aware it's not popular, but I watched a LOT of curling--don't understand the rules, but boy, that takes talent to make a billiards-quality shot from over 100' away--kudos to the Canadian men's team for gold there, too!
