My new rig is here today, though i havent been able to peek at it yet Cry After getting it fired up, what are some opinions on what programs i should get to keep it running tiptop? Or just some any programs you might feel someone may need with a sexy new gaming rig? Thanks for all  replies!

"Opinions are like... a**holes. Everybodys got one, but nobody wants to hear yours" Just in case anybody was wondering what the this thread title was about. Was that Jim Norton?

lol.......... Bill !!!!

I guess I am the only one here that doesn't hate Norton.  I have had it on my rigs for a decade and have never had any trouble with it.  That said, I do not do any Norton add ons (like Internet Security or the likes) just straight anti-virus.

After this inital account expires in about 7 months, I may give it a shot with out it and use AVG or something for a year and see what happens.  I actually have that on a lap top and have for about 3 months just to see how it runs. So far so good.

I just want to make sure my DSO rig never gets infected, although I am never on any questionable sites and never down load any thing foolish.

I know what your thinking, 18 year old Censored .com!  And NO.... I only use my DSO for gaming, both single player and online, and for banking and other such tasks.

If was funny, though, harley!

I dont know what porn is, but i do know that it takes up ~42% of my current computers hard drive space. its only a 150GB though...thats why im upgrading to a 320GB, that will reduce it to 21%.
