I have two optical drives installed in my computer. I was upgrading my OS to windows 7 from windows vista I put the upgrade dvd into my optical drive 1 and waited for it to auto start and nothing. So I had to use my optical drive 2. It worked and i was able to upgrade my OS to windows 7 and everything worked fine. But my computer still does not recognise my first optical drive. When i go into device manager it only shows on optical drive. I don't know what happen.
Any ideas Thanks Albert Coito |

a trick i used to fix this when it happened to me was to unplug and plug in the optical drive while the computer was running... im not sure how safe this is, but it worked for me lol
