I know this has been discussed ad nauseam, but my order just went to stage 3, inventory assigned. It has been exactly a week since I placed the order.
Does that seem on a typical pace? When do you think it will ship? The two week mark is next Wednesday. Thank you and yes I’m anxious lol. |

Well, I just got an email from them stating that a part is delayed, my sound card
They said maybe a week. Bummer. I went and looked on Amazon and it's available there. I wonder if they would allow me to buy it and ship it to them lol or just cancel that sound card and buy it myself. |

I made a change on my order without an issue. The key aspect is how far along they are. If your system is totally built then that is another matter.
Give them a call and get the full low down on the situation and what options you have. I have an AE-7 sound card which I love. Most people don't mess with a separate sound card but I have used Soundblaster products as an add on card for over 12 years. Just like the way they sound compared to motherboard sound. Although motherboard sound is quite impressive nowadays. Perhaps just cancel the sound card and buy it yourself locally and install it yourself. A sound card has to be the easiest card to add to a system compared to a CPU or GPU and configuration issues. Call them today! Don't hesitate making it more difficult because of the delay in contacting them. Talk to them and see what can be done.

Yeah, I have the same sound card on my old PC and it’s great. I like it because it sounds great. I also like the extension controller and easy mic/headphone connections.
I’m just going to wait. If it stretches more than a week, maybe I’ll cancel the sound card and just buy from Amazon and install it myself. |

Woot , I just got an email that my PC went to stress testing. I never even got a notice that it started building and only yesterday they said the sound card was out.
I'm really stoked! I just got a new desk and monitor and everything is rearing to go. |

Don’t want to rush stress testing. Rather have issues there than at home. Plus, a couple of days after stress testing began doesn’t mean issues, just finishing up one stage and moving to the next. Lots going on we don’t see. Its in their interest to get things out the door asap.

I hope I live long enough to need a 3rd Digital Storm system. The 2nd one I just got hopefully will last at least 12 years like the first one did. The old Digital Storm beast still games nice.

Thanks. The cable management isn’t great, but there’s not much I can do with the additional AIO for the GPU. I may change the power cable to a bridge type to clean it up a little bit, but I’m too worried. It’s hidden away under my desk lol.
