Order stuck in stage 1

Hey DS, my order number is 156807. I ordered a pc on dec 21st, I've called several times about not having any progress being made on my order. The only answers I'm given as to why no progress has been made is that there is a que that I'm in. All the parts are in stock according to the people I talk to. When I placed this order I was told that it was going to be shipped at the end of January. No one can tell me when the order will be completed or give me any real answers as to why no progress has been made. Can you please help me figure out what's going on and give me some answers? I know you guys are busy and working hard, its just frustrating seeing other orders on the forums being push through stages that were ordered after mine :(

They don't have the capacity to fulfill demand, it seems. Not even really a criticism, just a matter of fact. I've been at stage 1 for a while, which means they haven't even gotten to the part where they set parts aside for my PC and see what's in stock for me.

The unfortunate part is that I'll probably miss my window of free time before my work ramps back up, which was not the plan I made using the given estimate in the receipt. Guess that's life.

Based on my wait time and everyone else’s wait time they will get your order in 2 months or so. People ordered before you and haven’t received theirs yet and that’s because there’s a line we must wait in for them to start our order.

Read around the forums and on their Instagram and Facebook comments and you will see the average wait times are 2-3 months. No I do not work a digital storm but I read up on what everyone else was experiencing and they post when they ordered to when they received their computer and you will get a better view of when you should get yours. I ordered in November and just hit stage 7 today.

3-4 months is about right. Their advertised timeframe on the invoice receipt and the builder is wrong. It's a combination of lots of people ordering CPUs and GPUs that no company can get their hands on, let alone a small-ish boutique builder, plus just not having the manpower to assemble the huge influx of orders. Both combined created a backlog of customers in queue since November which are now getting first dibs on the parts just now trickling in from AMD and Nvidia.

I too wish I had known 3-4 months would be the real ETA for my PC. I'm willing to pay a decent penny for a good PC, but what I can't afford to pay is time. But again, such is life.

Well DS needs to fix the estimated shipping dates of 20-25 days on the website and receipts they give out. Totally misleading and inaccurate if the actual times frame is 3-4 months, customers should not have to dig around forums and social media to see what's actually going on. Updating wait times would fix all these questions people have about not getting what they purchased on time. By all means I'm not trying to be rude but if they say it would be delivered in a time frame they state, that's what they should do.

You ordered a day or 2 after me and are builds are almost identical, I've called DS many times and they have said all the parts are in. I don't understand how your ordered is being worked on before mine even though you ordered after me. I Have also emailed alex, Ron, and the management team and have heard nothing back. I think its time to cancel, this is so frustrating.

I'll do my best to help, there are many factors at play here on which order gets built first, etc, it's not just on order dates. The complexity of your build (hardware, chassis, cooling) and also if there are any back ordered hardware have a large play.

We are shipping a majority of orders within the 20-25 business day estimate we've been providing, there are some exceptions, but we're getting better.

There is light at the end of the tunnel, we've been ramping up production on a weekly basis, we'll be fully caught up in 4-5 weeks as well with new orders.

Well folks alex got in touch with me and said my pc would be delivered by the end of this week, just got my email with a tracking number stating it will be here by friday. I will keep everyone posted on how it goes.

I ordered a 5900X/6800 XT combo and was on Stage 1 on 11/23 but have been on Stage 2 since 1/25.
:-(
Having said that, I did take advantage of the build/shipping delay to re-configure and change my mind about coolers/RAM/hard drives and DS was very patient with my indecision.
