lol not so fast, first comes the torture of waiting for it to be built/tested and then shipped, then once its ready to ship, its time for you to pray to the shipping gods, but that time has not come yet

Congrats!
Be sure to watch out for those phantom Fedex trucks, they will give you all sorts of false hope! Be sure to tell us how you like your rig when you get it, I'm curious to see how you like the 942. |

I was wondering about something.....don't remember seeing it anywhere...but does DS install all of the latest drivers for all components? ie. GPU, mobo....ect...
or do I need to do that when I get the system? |

Never let windows install your gpu drivers, always get those from nvidia or ati.

Yeah I know not to let Microsoft update drivers.......I'll use the nvidia website for that.....was just wondering if DS was going to update them for me or if I would have to......Guess I'm use to what was said in cyberpowerpc's forums.....when you get a PC from them they just pop the cards in and ship it to you and don't update anything.....

I'm just adding an additional confirmation, when I got my DS rig, everything was completely up to date, BIOS, GPU Drivers, Sound Drivers, Chipset, etc. The only thing that wasn't, was Windows, but as mentioned, not that big of an issue.

Glad to hear! We don't update Windows on the systems as it would overload the resources we have on our network. |

Nope, shouldn't be too bad at all. I've heard a few people have trouble with the top of the 942, but I'm not exactly sure why, as I didn't have any issues when I opened it to clean. The following links are images that give you a general idea of what things look like under the top, so you can see what it would be like to add in the 2nd 200mm fan. http://forum.coolermaster.com/download/file.php?id=1946 http://www.legitreviews.com/images/reviews/1311/cooler_master_haf_x_025.jpg http://thebestcasescenario.com/oneslowz28/front_page/cmHAFX/IMG_9535.jpg |

Excited can't even describe the Euphoria that my mind is going through....I have never in all my days owned a System like this......Will truly be an EPIC day....is such TORTURE having to wait....but I want quality over quantity.....Please take your time DS techs.....i'm counting on you to make me proud
Just wanted to give an update.....As stated my build has entered Stage 3.....What I am impressed with is that at each change in Stage I received an Email with a progress report of what is going on at that time..... I'm looking forward to seeing STAGE 4 through arrival at my front door......My delivery guy is going to a brick when he spots the big box coming to my house......Looking forward to updating this thread as each Stage comes and goes and this rig arrives at my door......Once I get it and checked everything I will start it to check it out....then I will need advice on how to post pics on here without having to just put links to be clicked..... Hey Alex.....just wanted you to tell you that Robert in techsupport needs a raise.....he went above and beyond when I called in today to check on my system..I had a couple questions and he answered every one, and went further by updating me on where my rig was in the testing phase. Told me everything was testing great at the time......Can't wait to see this rig at my doorstep.....Rock on Digital Storm.
