Well, I have been building PCs for now going on 18 years and after building my last dual loop watercooled beast, I decided I would let my fingers take a rest and purchase one of DS's beautifully built machines. Even though I had some parts in hand for my next build, they graciously accepted them as part of this project. WOW...

After reading tons of posts, reviews, forums, columns, etc. I decided to take the plunge and let someone else craft something for me and save me 150-200 hours of care and labor! LOL

So 2 days ago after emails to Alex and John I now have a custom rig in the dormancy of construction!

Here is what is coming my way:

Chassis Model: Special Deal Hot Seller - Black OPS Aventum

Optical Drive 1: Blu-Ray Player/DVD Writer (Play Blu-Ray and Burn DVDs) (Slim Slot Loading Edition)

What are you going to do with 3 TITANs? Just wondering. Does any game need that?

For basic games, even a single TITAN works fine, hell even a GTX 760 can.

But, when you got the money to spend, no reason not to splurge and get the absolute best. A system like this is definitely not just a basic gaming PC, it's a full on high-performance workstation that can rip through any game at high resolutions (2560x1600+) with all visual settings maxed and 120+ FPS to get a butter smooth gaming experience.

I hope Hellstrom has a nice big monitor setup ready to be pushed to the limit with this beast.

Wow! That is one of the best builds that I have seen!! Welcome to Digital Storm! You will love your new beast when you get it. They last for years and upgrade easily. I just upgraded my old 4 year old DS that had a GTX 295 with a Titan SC and just love the performance boost. Having three of them and that beast of a system of yours will dominated anything with multiple monitors at any resolution at ULTRA settings!!!!!!!!!!

I think...(alex can confirm), that we are building identical systems?

Any luck in fitting the chipset cooling on yours?

I have an identical build and was told chip set cooling was not going to fit.

Glad to see two fellow Aventum II customers here. The Aventum II is definitely one of our best systems.

Well I have been running 30" monitors for almost 8 years. I ALWAYS run games at 2560x1600 (as referenced by Alex) and have always set view distance,AA, Etc. to the highest possible. I like the immersive feel of high resolution and fluid gameplay. And I usually mod any game possible with high res textures. All this pushes cards to the limit.

I prefer not to be at the limit, but have room to grow as the tech grows and games push even higher limits. I know it may seem extreme now, but look back 3 years and it doesn't seem all that high end any more. My last self build was a beast very similar at the time (dual loops, 3 GTX 285SCs, etc. all water-cooled) and now it will barely push a modern game with any settings past medium.

So while it my be out there for today's games, in a couple of years it may just be so-so.

I'm happy to have such a great build coming my way....

I hope you are misinformed...LOL

Spoke with John yesterday on the phone and he indicated for the copper piping option I had to change my motherboard, but that it would be done the same way for the MB chipset. There was a small upcharge and a slight addition to the build time, but the difference in how it looks should be stellar!!!

The Aventum II can only work in a dual loop config due to the exhaust chamber design.

(Please note, dual loop or single loop, both are good, it depends on the chassis and configuration on what is best).

Too bad Nerek387. Opened mine today. Some problems with hard drive cage out of whack, and resivour is little more than half full. Quiet rig though. Running out the bubbles and watching the temps and loads. I will try to post some pictures tomorrow. Happy Holiday everyone!

I'm going to order the same thing but after Ivy Bridge E is released.

I have a few questions.
1) How to do you fill it with water or replace it?
2) Is there any kind of maintenance ? You mentioned something about bubbles.
