Ordered with incompatible parts any advice?

I placed an order a couple days ago, but the configurator didn't specify the CPU was incompatible with the motherboard. My friend who sent me the link after configuring the PC wasn't notified at all, I usually build my own rigs so I was pretty confident in the website.. I don't really blame them for the oversight

Currently nervous and wondering what to expect from support, I wrote to them 15 minutes after placing it but haven't gotten a reply (understandable because it is a weekend)

Ordered priority but I can't imagine they can ship a PC with an AM5 CPU in an AM4 Motherboard lol

I want to switch the CPU to a Ryzen 7 5800x turbo (which is cheaper) I don't expect a refund for the difference in price, I just want the build to go smoothly, also hoping I don't annoy anyone with this forum post.

Anyone else have any experience with this, swapping parts after ordering?

Don't worry about it. They will contact you. They are very good at this sort of thing. You can also send an email to sales and they will get back with you usually within 24 hours.

Oh, and I just switch my processor from a 12th gen Intel to a 13th gen as well as the motherboard after originally ordering. Not an issue.

Support got back to me just now, managed to get me an even beefier build for an even smaller price!
