OK, I am ordering within the week.  I have some questions that I need answered first.  My main gaming type is online gaming.  I like to duel box WoW and/or Eve on one computer using alt tab.  I am just trying to stay under $3000 and get the best I can for my money without wasting it on things I would not really notice or I don't need.  Thank you in advance.

#1 - Some systems say they come with free liquid cooling.  I am considering this over air for the processor.  I have heard horror stories of liquid spilling all over the inside of the pc.  How safe is liquid cooling for the processor compared to air? I love the idea of no fan since the processor fan is always corroded with dust after awhile.

#2 - I am planning on getting 6 gigs ... I either want 1600MHz or 2000MHz
is there a noticeable different between them?

#3 - Why isn't Noise Reduction offered on all PC builds?(Is it worth getting?)

#4 - Why isn't Killer Xeno Pro offered on all PC Builds?(Is it worth getting?)

#5 - For gaming is the ATI Radeon HD 5970 2gig the best card you can get atm? I have always used nvidia, but I am so sick of the windows errors with Win7.  It seems like they can't get the drivers correct anymore? I dunno.

I believe that is all I need for now Confused

killer xeno pro is a waste of money, it doesnt have any performance gains

1. this is a perfect example of don't believe everything you read on line, the liquid in a LC system is suppose to be non conductive, which means that if it spills, nothing happens.

second when done right, 99% of the time there is no leak, and for that 1% there is the DS warranty that covers us.

third, asetek is not a real LC system, in the sense that it does not provide the performance of a real system like frostchill or subzero. What you want here is the actually the air system cause it will perform better then asetek, go with Noctua NH-U12P, thats the one you want.

also remember you are still dealing with a radiator, and a radiator is cooled with fans, so there are still fans with LC and they still get dust in them.

2. no there is no difference in gaming so go wtih 1600MHz.

3. no noise reduction is not worth getting, you trap noise inside, you also end-up trapping heat.

4. xeno pro is a waste of money, forget it.

5. one of nvidia's drivers should work with win7 but they don't have dxll support, which for wow is not important, however its good to have for the future, a 5870 should give you what you want for wow.

Thanks for all the excellent answers! I am only concerned now that you said the
hd 5870 is not DX11 compatible? That is kind of annoying, since it seems to be the best card I can get here Confused  Is it just that they don't have DX11 support right now, but they will soon or what?

He was talking about the current Nvidia cards, they don't have DX11 support.

The 5870 is DX11 compatible.
