I asked for high flow fans to be installed, and requested a 120mm tower style CPU heat sink/fan combo as suggested by someone on the forums.

Any last minute suggestions before I pull the trigger tonight?

I'm not 100% sure (I'm sure somebody with better knowledge will chime in) But any reason your going with the 780i over the 680 A1 chipset? I had orginally chosen the Q6600 with the 780i chipset, but when I was  at DS two people  advised me to go with the 680i A1 over ther 780i if I was going to go with the Q6600 processer.

In any case I went with an upgrade that required me to get the 780i.1

Good question.  I plan on upgrading the chip later this year so I wanted to be future proof.

one question why did you pick the 950 over the 850 case? The 850 case is larger overall, and from what ive been told is a great air cool case to go with stage 3.

Did not realize that.  Thanks for the info.  One thing I am concerned about:  I am in a dusty environment and was concerned about the dust.  Knowing that, does this make my choice for the 950 better or worse?

Obviously, the 950 (TJ9) is much more macho looking! The 850 might be a better choice if you were liquid cooling. If your going with air, pick the best looking one, which ever that happens to be (.... the TJ9).
