Greetings all,

I have a question pertaining to admin accounts associated with windows 7.  I was wondering what admin account DS used when they built my computer last July.  I have an Admin_2 and Mark account when I log in.  I cannot delete the Admin_2 account but can delete the Mark account if I so choose.  I guess I am wondering should I remove the Admin_2, if I can.  I am tired of booting and and having to log off to get to my admin account.  Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Mark D. Brzys

I'm not sure exactly how your computer is configured now, but, you could set your Mark account as an admin and remove Admin_2 from the users.

Thanks for the reply Alex...

Mark and the Admin_2 are both admin accounts, and the Mark account is the only one with the delete account option under User Control.  I am just trying to figure out how it got there.  I will keep searching the web for solutions then.

Thanks again,

Try this guide, you might be able to disable the "Admin_2" account this way:
