Someone else can help you fine tune more, but I found this post by Venom from DS to be very helpful for general troubleshooting once you start. It let me get Lilim to 4.2GHz 24-hour Prime95 stable with little effort. If you get any other Bluescreen codes not listed here or just want more information on any specific BIOS setting you can Google them.

To start, set your RAM divider to 2:8 1066MHz, timings to the ram's rated spec, and increase bclock by 10MHz and test it each time you increase with LinX until you reach about 170, then start increasing by 5MHz. When you are at 190, increase by 2-3 each time.

Start with 1.3000v cpu vcore, and +100mv cpu vtt.  Set your dimm voltage to what your ram is rated for.

Bluesceen codes:
0x00000101 - increase vcore
0x00000124 - increase vtt or vcore (you will have to test each one)
0x0000009c - increase vcore
0x0000000A - raise/lower vtt or dimm
0x00000050 - raise/lower dimm (usually, can also be vtt related)

justin.kerr is a much better overclocker than I am, so I am sure he can help you further.

i didnt see that post till now, wierd
either way if justin helped you on the forums, you can use the same tread as a reference, if you cant find it then post up your a copy of what you ordered, a screenshot from CPUZ on the main and memory tabs, and download the following programs for your testing
realtemps
intel burn test
3dmark vantage or just 3dmark
prime95

i wont be abel to really be "on" until around 9 EST

It's okayy, well the thing is I have different ram with different timings now so it will be a bit different, because the old ram didn't respond well to any oc's because of the faulty ram.  Also my oc might seem a little weird right now, because it took awhile for DS to work up a clock setting with this new ram that worked every other one would end up crashing and such.  However the new clock they had me at which was 3.9 wasn't saved to profile and when I accidently reset the cmos battery it was lost, so now I mildly underclocked my cpu to 3.5ghz from an unstable 3.8 that was saved.  I have linx does it test stress the same things as intel burn test?

you running 1600 Mhz RAM?? cause it is overclocked right now  if it is.

all you should need to do at first is raise the multiplier to 23 and re-run the stress testing, if pass then raise it to 25, then boom you are to 4.175Ghz
Linx and IBT will do a quick test on the CPU, but will not stress the Uncore, nor the RAM, so I would use IBT or linx max mem, and once you get it set, you can run Prime95 for the final tweaking

It's actually running at 1333 Mhz right now.  So I put the multiplier at 23 and I'm sitting at 4.8 ghz, but my max cpu multiplier is 24.  Now to run some Linx.

Your memory multiplier is set to 10, so it is currently running at 1666MHz, not 1333MHz.

With CPU-Z multiply the Bus Speed under the CPU tab by the memory multi listed under FSB:DRAM (second number) in the memory tab. Or just multiply the DRAM Frequency reading by 2.

CPU-Z usually reports the Bus Speed number a bit low, so it's probably actually 167, meaning the memory is at 1670MHz and the CPU is at 3507MHz, if you wanted exact numbers.

Ahh I see I got you, so 1600 Mhz or 1670 it is lol.  Yes the CPU-Z setup is from my old setup with my tweaks to make it stable and taking it down to 3.5 ghz.  When I'm in the BIOS and I'm adjusting CPU multiplier it says max 24, and it won't even let me type in 25.

Passed Linx on ten passes with a 23x multiplier, so what next?  It won't let me put 25x is there some setting I should change or what?

Okay, I'm adding more stuff, and putting the settings in right now.  One problem, for some reason I cannot enable turbo mode unless I have a 24x multiplier.  Also, do you just want the settings out of the Frequency/Voltage control of the BIOS, or do you want a whole bios listing?

you need the multi set to 24, then enable turbo...

So I'm not exactly sure how long prime95 went last night, but it stopped working somewhere along the way.  There was no errors found, because I looked at the results.  The program just stopped working.

Soo, I guess more prime then.
