So I'm looking at overclocking my CPU, however, every AMD overcloking tool that I have found requires an AMD/ATI chipset, and I have an Nvidia one....

So does anyone here know of a tool that allows an AMD Athlon 64 x2 to be Overclocked with a Geforce 8200 chipset?

That, or can someone help me figure out how to use BIOS to overclock?

Thanks.

So I went into the BIOS and changed it (Moved it up 1 setting) but then every time I booted, I got the BSOD. :S
Does this mean my CPU doesn't like Overclocking??

Yes, unfortunately it seems you have no OC potential. Also if your comp is a HP, Dell ect, they're often blocked and can not be OC'd at all. PC Power magazine printed a glorious seasonal magazine for winter called "Building the Perfect PC"...in the back is a step by step guild to OCing AMDs and Intels (pre-i7). That's my sited source for that nugget of info above. Nearly all over the counter computers can not be OC'd at all.

Nah, I made mine myself. So it's not locked through that.
