I have never overclocked before and was wondering what is the easiest and safest way to overclock a 4870x2.

Better yet, do I even need to overclock the gpu lol.

I dont see how all you guys use riva tuner, i cant stand it . its to much. EVGA precision is so simple yet effective. gotta love it.

well Riva is great and some people have had problems with precision that Riva does not have, some people's oc would not keep amongst other things, you can check nvidia's and evga's forum if you want to see what kinds of trouble.

but to each his own, you like precision more power to you.

Rivatuner is for advanced users. Just stick to Precision if you are a newbie.

Both is developed by the same dude and are meant for Nvidia GPUs but he tries his best to include support for ATI GPUs.

You can also use ATI Tray Tools if you are having issues with Rivatuner and Precision.
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star.
