Welcome back. Awesome
The configurator gurus will show up and give much better advise than I can.

I would suggest that you change the Storage Set 1 to a NVMe M.2 which interfaces with the mobo through the PCIe and not SATA. Much much faster.
And I hope you saw that the 3080s are very very popular (meaning scarce).
Enjoy.

All Intel here is PCIe Gen 4 until around March. All AMD has been PCIe gen 4 for a year. Just sayin'. Up to you if you want older tech. The AMD 5000 series CPUs are new champs.

You don't need 1000W PSU, the 850s are more than enough.

Like hoserator said, the NVMe SSDs are at least 5 times faster than the Ds SATA M.2s. The Samsung 980s are champ, but it's PCIe Gen 4 part. Backward compatible, but you'll gimp it slightly on a Gen 3 board.

What monitor are you trying to run? The 3070, which is much more available edges out the former top dog 2080 Ti, and is great at 1440p.

You might think hard on that backward looking Intel. Might not hurt to wait 'til spring. There are lots of part supply issues right now and we're going into Blk Fri and Xmas.
