This may sound a little petty, but the paint on my left keypad button is chipping. I received my X17 laptop a couple of months ago, so i'm a little disappointed. What are my options?

I would contact DS directly in case Alex doesn't notice this thread. There are a lot of variables with cosmetic stuff like this, so I can't help much with specifics. That being said, I find it really odd that they would paint the buttons, seems like a bad design choice to me. Granted, DS doesn't manufacture the laptop, so can't fault them there.

It would be best if you could email me the photos along with your order details: [email protected] so we can help you with this. We don't offer custom paint options, so I assume this is something of concern to a standard factory finish.
We'll do our best to help you and see what solution we can find for you. |
